Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund has confirmed that a decision on Joshua Kimmich’s future will be made “very soon” after a series of reports in recent weeks.

It was reported this week that Bayern have withdrawn a new contract offer from Kimmich after they were left unhappy that the 30-year-old has yet to make a decision on his future.
Kimmich’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season and negotiations have been ongoing for several months. Meanwhile, other key players, Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davis, have also signed new deals.
Freund, however, declined to comment on Kimmich’s new deal, only saying that a decision would be made “soon.
” “There is a lot of news and speculation. We never report on the progress of contract negotiations and we are not going to start reporting now,” Freund said.
“I can only reiterate that we have had good and fair discussions with Joshua over the past few months. We will continue to do so. “
The decision will be made very soon, but we are not going to comment now. สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน There is a lot of news. But we are in direct contact with Joshua, that’s all that matters now,”
said Max Eberl, Bayern’s other sporting director, who also said negotiations were ongoing and would not comment further,
while team-mate Leon Goretzka said after the win over Stuttgart that he would be ‘very happy’ if Kimmich stayed.
