Diarrhea can occur frequently in our daily lives, and gastrointestinal infections are the main causes of diarrhea. Maintaining cleanliness and choosing hygienic foods can prevent infections that lead to diarrhea. Follow these basic recommendations:

  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after eating or touching food, and after using the bathroom or touching other dirty things to prevent the spread of germs UFABET 
  • In cases where washing hands is not possible, use an alcohol-based hand gel to effectively kill germs.
  • Choose food carefully, such as eating hot, clean, fresh food. Avoiding unwashed fresh vegetables and fruits, raw meat, and dairy products, etc.
  • Food should not be left at room temperature for long periods of time. It should be refrigerated to prevent bacterial growth.

Although diarrhea is usually not a serious symptom. It can be very painful and chronic, leading to other diseases later on. Patients should see a doctor immediately if they have the following symptoms:     

  • If diarrhea lasts for more than 2 days or dehydration occurs, or for young children or infants. If symptoms last for more than 1 day, they should be taken to see a doctor immediately. As there is a risk of death from dehydration.
  • Have severe pain in the abdomen or rectum.
  • Fever higher than 39 degrees Celsius
  • Bloody or black stools
